Calling all Indigenous and Indigenous Studies students! Are you interested in helping to shape the UNLV University Libraries Indigenous Studies collection? Do you have indigenous ancestry and/or cultural heritage and would like to see your community reflected in the resources collected, curated, and maintained by Lied Library? Do you study indigenous communities and want to be sure the library has the research materials you need?

UNLV Athletics and University Libraries have partnered on a new initiative aimed at driving engagement throughout campus, the two departments announced Monday.

In preparation for the 2020 general election, the University Libraries will be hosting a virtual Lunchtime Civic Engagement Series daily at 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from Oct 13-16. The series will offer students the opportunity to learn how to research and critically evaluate information about candidates and issues on the ballot.

With September being National Suicide Prevention Month, the UNLV Libraries are highlighting UNLV research on mental health, suicide, and suicide prevention.

November 11 is a day to honor the veterans who have served our nation.  UNLV archivist Joyce Moore has just completed the description of material focused on veteran Major Charles A.

The University Libraries' Technology & Laptop User Agreement is now available online. Students who want to checkout laptops, cameras, and other technology at Lied Library are required to submit the user agreement each year.

The agreement can be filled out and submitted in advance of coming into the library. Technology available for checkout is listed online.
