In preparation for the 2020 general election, the University Libraries will be hosting a virtual Lunchtime Civic Engagement Series daily at 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from Oct 13-16. The series will offer students the opportunity to learn how to research and critically evaluate information about candidates and issues on the ballot.

With September being National Suicide Prevention Month, the UNLV Libraries are highlighting UNLV research on mental health, suicide, and suicide prevention.

November 11 is a day to honor the veterans who have served our nation.  UNLV archivist Joyce Moore has just completed the description of material focused on veteran Major Charles A.

The COVID-19 pandemic has placed UNLV in uncertain financial times, with severe budget cuts from the state legislature for the current fiscal year. Heading into the next biennium, we expect continued strain on the state’s budget as we grapple with the long-term impacts of COVID-19.

The University Libraries' Technology & Laptop User Agreement is now available online. Students who want to checkout laptops, cameras, and other technology at Lied Library are required to submit the user agreement each year.

The agreement can be filled out and submitted in advance of coming into the library. Technology available for checkout is listed online.
