Every month, Special Collections and Archives will highlight some of our newly processed collections. Here are some of the highlights for April.

- The Felicia Campbell Papers (approximately 1962-2020) contains material documenting the life and work of long-time UNLV English professor, Felicia Campbell. Materials include Campbell's personal and professional papers including correspondence, scholarly journals featuring her published articles, article drafts, newspaper clippings, photographs, personal diaries, and awards. Also included are materials documenting Campbell's discrimination lawsuit against UNLV in the 1970s regarding equal pay for tenured female faculty.

- The Las Vegas Gambling Surveillance Collection (approximately 1990-2007) contains materials presumably from the office of Daniel Schreffler who worked as a surveillance officer for Boyd Gaming Corporation, including the Stardust Casino, during the early to mid-2000s. Materials include print outs and digital versions of CCTV images, Stardust Casino surveillance reports, and alert reports related to gambling and gaming cheaters in Las Vegas, Nevada from gaming investigative services such as Griffin Investigations, SIN Report, and Biometrica Systems. Materials also include Daniel Schreffler's email correspondence and employee related paperwork and documentation from the Stardust Casino.

- This title was recently added to WorldCat, the world’s largest library catalog, by the UNLV Libraries Specialized Collections Cataloger. UNLV Special Collections and Archives is the second institution in the country and one of three in the world with this particular item available in their holdings.

- The Ernest Mitchell Pratt Photographs (approximately 1932-1936) consist of black-and-white photographic prints, signed and unsigned, taken by Pratt while Hoover Dam was under construction. Many prints are signed and mounted, and two are noted as award-winning photographs shown at the Annual International Salon of Camera Pictorialists in Los Angeles, California. There are additional working prints included alongside the final prints for most of the scenes. Also included in the collection is one small photograph of Pratt. This collection was formerly known as the Price Photograph Collection.
