Dr. Mark Bollman, Professor of Mathematics at Albion College, MI is a frequent visitor to UNLV Libraries Special Collections and Archives where he has researched six books on gambling mathematics.

With September being National Suicide Prevention Month, the UNLV Libraries are highlighting UNLV research on mental health, suicide, and suicide prevention.

November 11 is a day to honor the veterans who have served our nation.  UNLV archivist Joyce Moore has just completed the description of material focused on veteran Major Charles A.

The University Libraries' Technology & Laptop User Agreement is now available online. Students who want to checkout laptops, cameras, and other technology at Lied Library are required to submit the user agreement each year.

The agreement can be filled out and submitted in advance of coming into the library. Technology available for checkout is listed online.

The July Database of the Month is American Consumer Culture. Access to this database, provided free for all UNLV students, faculty, and staff, can be accessed off-campus using your ACE account.

This vast collection of primary sources documents 20th-century consumer culture in the United States and offers insights into one of the most important themes of modern times.
