Sleep is an integral part of good health according to researchers. And yet, worldwide, statistics show that 51% of adults do not get sufficient sleep. What is sufficient sleep? How do we determine if we are getting it? Join the staff in Scholarly Communication and Data Services, and take a look at the eye opening research being produced here at UNLV.

Virtually Visit with Pets of the UNLV Libraries

Stressed out studying for finals? Need a study break? Join the UNLV Libraries faculty, staff, and student employees and meet some of their favorite pets. You might be surprised by a few special species beyond cats and dogs!

The UNLV Music Library staff collected some of the most uplifting music for students and faculty that are looking for a “pick me up” playlist, available on Spotify and Apple Music.

The National Endowment for the Humanities announced today that the UNLV University Libraries and the UNLV Department of Film have received a $271,580 National Endowment for the Humanities’ (NEH) Humanities Collections and Reference Resources Award for their project, “Inventing Hollywood: Preserving and Providing Access to the Papers of Renegade Genius Howard Hughes.”

If you are a student unable to register for summer classes due to a MyUNLV hold applied to your account by the library, you can get the hold temporarily lifted by filling out a Fee Appeal Form from the library website. 

Holds will be lifted on individual accounts by request through Saturday, May 16, 2020. Please allow up to one business day for Fee Appeal Form to be acted upon.
