Libraries Wins CASE District VII Bronze Award For Mandy The Skeleton Photo Series

The UNLV University Libraries were awarded a Bronze Award in Photography: Series of Related Photographs during the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VII Awards of Excellence for “We Won’t Let Your Studies Calcify.”

The humorous photo series from Aaron Mayes features the Libraries’ skeletal anatomical model, nicknamed Mandy the Skeleton, roaming Lied Library during the shutdown of the UNLV campus at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
