Supernatural Encounters From Around The Globe

Join Dr. Sheila Bock (Department of Interdisciplinary, Gender, and Ethnic Studies), Student Diversity and Social Justice, and the University Libraries on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 5-6:30 p.m. in the Goldfield Room at Lied Library. This hauntingly fun event will give visitors the opportunity to learn about the significance of Halloween and its connection to the supernatural.

A folklorist by training, Bock's research and teaching interests focus on traditional, informal culture – the expressive forms that take shape in people's everyday lives and communicate the beliefs, values, and experiences of individuals and communities.

Light refreshments will be provided. The event is free and open to all.
