Summary: This 6 reel collection contains virtually every facet of the occupation government's activities in managing the reconstitution of viable, democratic Germany. Monthly reports detail the recovery process and include statistical information published March 1947 covering the period of American occupation since May 1945. From April 1947 to July 1949 included in the monthly reports were separate statistical annexes. Covered in these reports are such facets as rebuilding of the transportation system, the administration of public health, and a month by month account of principal problems or achievements.
