What’s the holiday season without the Vince Guaraldi Trio’s, A Charlie Brown Christmas? Vince Guaraldi, a jazz pianist, was enlisted to whip up some music for the Christmas special. The music and show debuted in December of 1965. Rolling Stone’s writer, Liz Pelly describes the songs in the 40 minute soundtrack as “both smooth and snappy,” while also leading the audience along through the show and adding more depth into the character’s adventures or actions.
