By popular demand, the Nico Castel collections are making their way to the Music Library. The Nico Castel books contain the translations and IPA transcriptions to some of the most well known and often performed operas. These books can be found on the Music Reserve shelf, next to the circulation desk. The items are non circulating, which mean you are able to find your music and IPA/translations at the same time!
Sihasin is a Navajo punk band comprised of siblings Clayson and Jeneda Benally. Sihasin (See-ha-sin), is a Dine’ word that translates to ‘to think with hope and assurance' --the overarching message of their music. Sihasin hopes to spread a message of hope for social and environmental justice. Their song, “Fight Like a Woman” was produced by Ed Stasium of the Ramones. The song is available on Spotify and Apple Music.
