This 13 reel collection features nearly three reels on Cuba, which include the texts of forty-two Castro speeches and extensive material on the activities of Cuban exiles and the resettlement of Cuban refugees in the U. S. The three reels on Mexico cover such topics as the dispute of salinity in the Colorado River, the Chamizal Treaty, and the negotiation of a civil aviation agreement. This collection also includes extensive material (nearly three reels) on the overthrow of Goulart in Brazil, thoroughly documenting the background and aftermath of the coup and U.S. relations with the new government of Humberto Castelo Branco. Limited materials on the political upheavals of Panama, Dominican Republic, and Argentina are featured.
