Teaching & Learning Librarian
Roles and responsibilities
As a Teaching and Learning Librarian, I work with undergraduate students, particularly those in English 102 and first-year seminars including COLA 100E, CFA 100, and BUS 103. This includes teaching information literacy sessions, conducting research consultations with students to help with their projects, and encouraging students to explore their personal interests through a scholarly lens. I also coordinate the Lance and Elena Calvert Undergraduate Research Awards.
In addition to working with students, I work with instructors to create assignments and lesson plans, particularly those incorporating information literacy and games-based learning.
