UPDATE: Registration deadline extended through Friday, August 30!
Have an idea for a new physical board or card game? Get help bringing it to life during Game Jam 2024 at Lied Library. A game jam is an event where people come together to create their own games.
Five teams of 2-3 students each will compete to build a physical game using resources from the Makerspace in Lied Library. Community-wide voting will determine the winner.
Register your team (up to three individuals). Chosen teams will be notified of their selection by September 3. Team members should complete a Makerspace Orientation prior to the kickoff event.
A Game Jam kickoff event will take place on Tuesday, September 3 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the Makerspace at Lied Library.
Teams will have from September 3-24 to design and finalize their game prototype. Public voting on the games will run from September 25-October 2 in Lied Library.
The winner of Game Jam 2024 will be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday, October 3 at Lied Library.
