WORK-STUDY

The United States Federal Work Study (FWS) program pledges federal government funds to pay 75% of an eligible student's wages, while the employer (University Libraries) is responsible for 25%. Therefore, the University Libraries mainly hires students with work study allocations!

AVAILABILITY

Work study students typically work up to twenty hours per week, depending on course load, departmental/division needs, students work study funding and library budget.

Academic year: Summer & Winter breaks:

Library hours vary by branch and time of year, however, Lied (main) library's typical hours are:
WEEK: 7:30AM - midnight, Monday through Thursday
7:30AM - 7:00 PM, Friday
WEEKEND: 10:00AM - 6:00PM, Saturday
11:00AM - midnight, Sunday
