Roles and responsibilities

As your humanities librarian, I do my best to be a friendly and knowledgeable guide for students and faculty embarking on literary or historical research. 20+ years of experience building UNLV’s library collections positions me to connect researchers with relevant sources, scholarship and collections in history, English literature, world languages, philosophy, film, theatre, and music and dance.

Need some personalized assistance? I'm available to schedule a one-on-one consultation, either in person or online, to discuss your project and brainstorm research strategies. Or I'm always happy to lend a hand via email if you're trying to track something specific down.

If you teach in one of these areas and wish to bring a class to visit (or virtually visit) Lied Library, we can design hands-on activities to familiarize students with core tools and build their confidence as they begin to engage with scholarship in the discipline.

Forging strong partnerships with departments and programs is central to my role as a liaison librarian. I look forward to conversations where we can envision collaborative projects that meet student needs and align with the broader learning goals of academic programs, the university, and the UNLV Libraries.
