Library Privileges

Undergraduate Students
Eligibility: Must be a currently enrolled UNLV undergraduate student.
Requires: Valid RebelCard.
TDRL Borrowing Privileges:
- 50 item limit (for all UNLV Libraries)
- 28 day check out for most books
- 3 renewals for most books (unless on hold for another patron or recalled)
- Renewals may be granted by library staff in person or over the phone, as long as items don’t have fines/holds or have not been recalled/billed as lost. Once renewals are exhausted, the item(s) must be returned to the TDRL. If there are no other requests for the item(s), they can be checked back out to you.
- Check out for reserve items and equipment may range from 2 hours to 7 days. Renewal options for these specialized materials will vary.
- Allowed to place holds on checked-out items, which generates a recall request and a shortened due date to two weeks from the date of the request.
- Request items from other UNLV Libraries, CSN, NSC, and other affiliated institutions be sent to the TDRL for pick up.
Computer Access: Valid ACE Account. In-house and off-campus access to UNLV's licensed electronic resources (occasional exceptions due to some product licenses). As of 12/18/17, off-campus access will occur exclusively through your ACE account. Remote access FAQ.
P12 Educators
Eligibility: P12 educators currently employed in a Las Vegas school
Requires: Government issued photo ID, proof of employment

- Renewals may be granted by library staff in person or over the phone, as long as items don’t have fines/holds or have not been recalled/billed as lost. Once renewals are exhausted, the item(s) must be returned to the TDRL. If there are no other requests for the item(s), they can be checked back out to you.

Eligibility: Must be a currently employed full-time UNLV faculty, professional staff, or classified staff
