Undergraduate Students

Eligibility: Must be a currently enrolled UNLV undergraduate student.

Requires: Valid Rebelcard.

TDRL Borrowing Privileges:
  • 50 item limit (for all UNLV Libraries)
  • 3 week check out for most books
  • 4 renewals for most books (unless on hold for another patron)
  • Check out for reserve items and equipment may range from 2 hours to 7 days. Renewal options for these specialized materials will vary.  
  • Allowed to recall and place holds on checked-out items
  • Paging of items between UNLV Libraries, College of Southern Nevada, and Nevada State College
  • Extended use fees
Computer Access: Valid ACE Account. In-house and off-campus access to UNLV's licensed electronic resources (occasional exceptions due to some product licenses). Remote access FAQ.

Graduate Students

Eligibility: Must be a currently enrolled UNLV graduate student

Requires: Valid Rebelcard

Faculty & Staff

Eligibility: Must be a currently employed full-time UNLV faculty, professional staff, or classified staff

Requires: Valid Rebelcard
TDRL Borrowing Privileges:
  • Unlimited item limit (for all UNLV Libraries)
  • Semester check out for most books
  • Unlimited renewals for most books (unless on hold for another patron), but books must be brought to the library once a year to be physically renewed.
  • Check out for reserve items and equipment may range from 2 hours to 7 days. Renewal options for these specialized materials will vary.
  • Allowed to recall and place holds on check-out items
  • Paging of items between UNLV Libraries, College of Southern Nevada, and Nevada State College
  • Extended use fees

K12 Educators

Eligibility: K12 educators currently employed in a Las Vegas school

Requires: Government issued photo ID, proof of employment

  • 50 item limit (at TDRL), 10 item limit (other UNLV Libraries)
  • 3 week check out for most books
  • 2 renewals for most books (unless on hold for another patron)
  • Check out for reserve items and equipment may range from 2 hours to 7 days. Renewal options for these specialized materials will vary.
  • Allowed to recall and place holds on checked-out items
  • Paging of items between UNLV Libraries
  • Extended use fees
Computer Access: In-house access to UNLV's licensed electronic resources (occasional exceptions due to some product licenses) at computers not requiring a log-in and through the Guest wireless.

Public Borrowers

Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age

Requires: Government issued photo ID

TDRL Borrowing Privileges:
  • 10 item limit (for all UNLV Libraries)
  • 3 week check out for most books
  • 2 renewals per item for most books (unless on hold for another patron)
  • Allowed to recall and place holds on checked-out items
  • Paging of items between UNLV Libraries
  • Extended use fees
Computer Access: In-house access to UNLV's licensed electronic resources (occasional exceptions due to some product licenses) at computers not requiring a log-in and through the Guest wireless.
