EZproxy Maintenance

Please be aware that the Libraries' EZproxy server will be offline for scheduled maintenance on Friday, June 12, from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

During this two-hour window, access to all library databases that proxy from the library website will be unavailable. If you are currently working on a research project, please plan your database access around this downtime.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to keep our systems running smoothly.

Library Instruction Sessions

About library instruction sessions

Library instruction sessions and tours are available for UNLV courses or groups by appointment.

Library instruction sessions can be held in the Arnold Shaw Room within the Music Library, the Lied Library or in the course's regular classroom. Popular topics include:

  • Finding music resources in the Music Library and beyond
  • Evaluating sources, including scores, recordings, etc.
  • Searching library databases efficiently
  • Training on specific resources (RefWorks, Naxos, etc.)
  • Developing research topics
  • Citing sources
