Summer Access to the Architecture Studies Library (ASL)

Access to the Paul B. Sogg Architecture Building is limited to School of Architecture students and faculty with a RebelCard.

Non-architecture users must schedule an appointment at least two business days in advance to visit the ASL.

Need a book? ASL items can be delivered to Lied Library for next-business-day pickup. Email libasl@unlv.edu with the titles and your contact info.

Lied Library remains fully open all summer to everyone.

Regular building access to the Sogg Architecture Building and ASL resumes August 18.

Computers and Scanners

Available Computers

The ASL offers both PCs and Macs for student use and there are a variety of architectural and interior design programs offered on them.

See a complete list of available computers and programs installed.

Computers with Scanners

On the first floor, there are three stations that have both a dual-monitor PC and an A3 size scanner.

There are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Book Scanner

If you are looking to scan an item that won’t fit on a flatbed scanner, like a book with a delicate spine, the ASL also offers a BookEye Machine.

This scanner allows you to easily scan a book, edit the pages, then either save the file to a USB or email it.
