Campus parking for visitors

Parking regulations for the academic year are in effect on campus during the week (days/times below); a permit or payment for metered parking is required.

  • Monday-Thursday, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
  • Friday, 7:00 am -1:00 p.m.

Metered spaces are available around the library on a first come, first served basis. Meters charge $.25 per 15 minutes, and accept quarters only. You may also download the free Pay by Phone App and pay for short term parking with your smart phone. After 1:00 pm on Friday, you may park in a metered space without paying, or park in any unoccupied spaced labeled "Student" or "Staff". For researchers who plan to spend an extended period in Special Collections, it may be more convenient to purchase a day or week pass from UNLV Parking Services, which will enable you to park in any student space.
