Special Collections and Archives is located on the third floor of Lied Library on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus. If you are using a GPS or mapping from an online tool, or taking a taxi, please make sure to use 987 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, Nevada as our address. DO NOT use our mailing address, 4505 Maryland Pkwy, as it will put you on the wrong end of campus. Locate driving directions at this link.
Parking regulations for the academic year are in effect on campus during the week (days/times below); a permit or payment for metered parking is required.
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday, 7:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m.
Metered spaces are available around the library on a first come, first served basis. Meters charge $.25 per 15 minutes, and accept quarters only. You may also download the free Pay by Phone App and pay for short term parking with your smart phone. After 1:00 p.m. on Friday, you may park in a metered space without paying, or park in any unoccupied spaced labeled "Student" or "Staff". For researchers who plan to spend an extended period in Special Collections, it may be more convenient to purchase a day or week pass from UNLV Parking Services, which will enable you to park in any student space.
