UNLV students, faculty, and staff are invited to explore library and information science career pathways and learn how UNLV Libraries supports student success at The Library Lounge: Career Conversations & Mocktails, taking place from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, in the Amargosa Room on the first floor of Lied Library.
The relaxed networking event offers attendees the chance to connect with library professionals and discuss opportunities in the field while enjoying a variety of mocktails and refreshments.
You will also have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about career development and learn more about the role of libraries in supporting academic success.
Guests will be entered into a drawing to win prizes during the event.
Library Lounge is part of Lied Library's 25th anniversary celebration. Registration is encouraged, but drop-ins are welcome, and attendees may come and go throughout the event.
