Lied Library is turning 25, and we want you to be part of the celebration! To mark this milestone, the Makerspace has created a giant piñata in the shape of Lied Library and we want your help to decorate it.

Here’s how you can join the fun:

  • Stop by the piñata station in the lobby at Lied Library.
  • Pick up a colorful streamer or piece of paper (we’ll have supplies ready for you).
  • Add a little glue and place your piece on the piñata.
  • Step back and watch as the library “grows” brighter, bigger, and more festive with every contribution.

Decorating will take place from Oct. 6-10.

This one-of-a-kind art project is a playful way to celebrate 25 years of Lied Library and the vibrant community that makes it shine. Come leave your mark, add a splash of color, and help us bring this giant piñata to life. Once completed, the piñata will be on display in the Lied Library 25th anniversary exhibit.
