Services are provided in a separate branch of approximately 16,000 gross square feet. A variety of reference guides, pathfinders, and lists is available, including current awareness materials such as the monthly new books list, and the serials list updated each semester. Most guides are accessible through the web, including the Architecture and Building: Net Resources guide, the guide titled Architects: A UNLV Library Research Guide, Las Vegas Architecture and Buildings: Selected Bibliography and Guide to Sources , and Architectural Style: a Guide for Initiating Research. In addition the ASL provides a number of resources about Las Vegas architects and buildings through its award winning Las Vegas Architects & Buildings Database, as well as its Las Vegas Guides & Collections resource page. The Architecture Studies Librarian is available for library orientations, and for instruction in library skills. Consultation for specific class assignments can be made individually or arranged for the class by the teacher. Online instruction modules are posted at http://www.library.unlv.edu/arch/instr/.
