Who in the World is Roberta Kane?

Join the UNLV University Libraries for "Who in the World is Roberta Kane?" on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 5-7 p.m. in the Goldfield Room in Lied Library.

This special reception will feature Roberta Kane, the daughter of Mike and Sallie Gordon. The Gordons were pioneers of Las Vegas' Jewish community and founding members of Temple Beth Sholom. Kane was the first known Jewish baby born in Las Vegas.

A celebration of the UNLV Special Collections & Archives' Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project, the event will offer opportunities for guests to share memories of life in Las Vegas and to browse the project website
