Today's post will be a short one. Judith has me workin hard (or hardly workin, eh Mac?) on an article for the UNLV Discovery issue of ITAL. The article should be a real thriller, easily as exciting as any episode of 24 or Lost.
Some of my Favorites on the list:
- Pagina Principal
- DrupalCon DC
- Agenzia Spaziale Italiana
- Materia organikoa eta gainerakoak
- Francesca Battistelli
- Amnesty International Report 2009
One thing I noticed - none of the sites on this fantastic list ended with .edu! Sacre bleu!
There are so many cool things we can do with our website. I'm not talking flashy designer fluff which adds no value. I'm talking about creating rich experiences for our patrons, which actually make them want to use the Library website. We've got a ton of cool stuff in the library, from The World Series of Poker to The Boomtown Years. We just aren't strutting our stuff. We need to take some advice from Burt Reynolds.
"I just go from place to place and... do what I do best.
- What's that?
- Show off."
- Smokey and the Bandit
