This workshop will focus on tactics to deter and detect intentional and unintentional plagiarism in undergraduate students as well as devices to identify and confirm information sources. Intended for graduate students.

Description:
Graduate students often have dual roles as both students and teachers. This workshop will focus on tactics to deter and detect intentional and unintentional plagiarism in undergraduate students as well as devices to identify and confirm information sources. In addition, this session will cover the concepts of "common knowledge", citing and paraphrasing, and provide examples of plagiarized student papers.  Lead by Kate Wintrol, Assistant professor, Research & Education Division, University Libraries.

The workshop is intended for graduate students.
