Quick Search: Articles, newspapers, books and ebooks, videos and more. Results primarily available online but may also include books available in the library or articles that can be requested for email delivery from ILLiad.
Books: Print and online books available from UNLV Libraries or by ILLiad request.
Articles: Articles from academic journals, magazines and newspapers.

Library Information: Pages on library web site, for example research guides, library policies and procedures, hours and events.

On Wednesday, April 20, EBSCO Industries, Inc. will be at UNLV offering training and information sessions to Faculty, Staff, and Students on some of the research tools available through the UNLV Libraries.

Stop by Lied Library to pick up information at the Smart Cart, or join us for a training session, and you may be eligible to win an IPOD.

The training session schedule is below. All sessions will be held in the Lied Library Rhyolite Room.

Training Sessions:

9 a.m. - 10 a.m. - Interdisciplinary Research
• Covers research of general topics and includes in-depth training on the Academic Search Premier database

10 a.m. - 11 a.m. - Health Sciences & Psychology

• Specifically focused on psychology and health science topics, including nursing and medicine. The session will cover the following databases: CINAHL, PsycArticles, and PsycInfo.

1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - Business/Hospitality

• This session for Business and Hospitality will cover Business Source Premier and Hospitality and Tourism Complete

2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Education

• Session on conducting research in Education. The databases covered in the session include ERIC and the Professional Development Collection.

3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Interdisciplinary Research

• Covers research of general topics and includes in-depth training on the Academic Search Premier database
