UNLV Libraries Workshop: Accessing Census Data Products Effectively

University Libraries In Partnership with The Census Bureau Partnership and Data Services invite you to attend:

The Keys to Your Community's Future: Accessing Census Data Products Effectively
Lied Library,  Amargosa Room (first floor)
9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Wednesday, February 2, 2011

America is changing, and so is the Census. To keep up with the changes, this workshop is offered to policy makers, local/state government staff, community based organizations and community leaders to demonstrate the latest Census data releases and tools.

Census data are required by numerous federal programs and for planning and decision making at the local, state and federal level. Focusing on the population's characteristics, the American Community Survey (ACS) complements, but is different from, the 2010 Census population data.

To RSVP or for more information contact Sidney Lowe at sidney.lowe@unlv.edu or 895-2134.
