HINARI Training on Friday, Nov. 19, in Lied Library

The UNLV Libraries and the University of Southern Nevada Library are pleased to announce that HINARI training will be offered at UNLV's Lied Library on Friday, Nov. 19,  from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This class will highlight the key features of HINARI, a World Health Organization collaboration with leading science, technology, and medicine publishers to enable access to electronic journals for low income countries.  To attend the class you must be from one of the countries listed.

Topics covered include:


  • Locating specific journals in HINARI website
  • Finding journal titles by subject in HINARI website


  • Searching across all journals in a Partner Publisher's website
  • Searching PubMed

  • Locating a listing of the journals free to developing-economies in Highwire Press
