Biographical / Historical Note

The Dummkopf Band formed in 1985. Still an active band, they predominantly play at festivals and are popular in the Las Vegas, Nevada area for combining polka music and comedy. Additionally, they also perform at parties in several different iterations, including "Irish Stew," an Irish-themed band; "The Dixie Stompers"; "Sheep Dip," a country band; "The Village Idiots," a comedy troupe; and "Fruit of the Loons," a comedic group for special events.
