Welcome to the Media Lab

INTRODUCTION

The Media Lab features specialized hardware and software for all current UNLV students, faculty, and staff to use on their multimedia projects and presentations.

Walk-ins and personal projects are welcome. Priority is given to University-related, academic work. Patrons are expected to follow all Media Lab policies and guidelines.

LOCATION

The Media Lab is located on the first floor of Lied Library in the northwest corner of the building, room 1201.

HOURS

The Media Lab is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and closed on weekends.  Poster printing is available Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and is dependent on staff availability.  Posters may only be picked up during these times. The door to the Media Lab may be locked when staffing is unavailable. To access the lab during these times stop by the Computer Help Desk or the Circulation Desk.  Equipment may be checked out during all library business hours from the Circulation Desk.

ASSISTANCE & CONTACT

The Media Lab is a space for self-learning and we are not able to provide in-depth assistance at this time.  Basic questions regarding software or equipment can be answered at the Computer Help Desk in person or over the phone at (702) 895-2101.
