WebCampus Toolkit

Integrating Library Resources into WebCampus

The resources listed on this page provide information on a variety of ways to incorporate library services and resources into WebCampus courses. For best results for accessing library links turn off pop-up blockers and accept cookies.

Many WebCampus courses now link by default to an appropriate "Library Guide" from the left-side course menu. The library subject guides can be good starting points for researching relevant topics.  If the course does not have an associated subject, the link will go to the Research page.

If you want to add library resources outside of the standard subject guide, it is important to create links that will allow access from off-campus and prompt students to enter their ACE login information. Copying links from subscription collections from the URL bar in your browser often yields broken links, and each source has a slightly different method for creating persistent, authenticating links.

This toolkit provides information on creating persistent links to a variety of library resources and includes specific directions on some of the more popular databases/publishers.

Please contact your liaison librarian or the Emerging Technologies Librarian if you need additional assistance.
