About the Computer Help Desk
Library Computer Help Desk (895-2101) is located on the 1st floor of Lied Library at the west end of the Research Assistance Desk. This group of library staff and student employees assist customers with general guidance on various software packages, printing, login issues, and computer hardware throughout Lied Library, including the use of your personal laptop.
Currently, it also provides basic support for the software and hardware in the 1st floor Media Lab. For more information on the Media Lab, please go to https://www.library.unlv.edu/services/media_services/medialab 
The first floor of Lied Library has 120 computers and there are several hundred additional workstations located throughout the building (including workstations in the Quiet Study areas on 3rd and 4th floor).
Check current computer availability on 1st floor (and across Lied Library) here.  The computers are available during regular Lied Library hours. Staff assistance may not be available at all times.
Workstations are also available at each branch libraries (Architecture Studies, Music and the Teacher Development and Resource Library)
Color laser printers are available on the first floor and second floor. Black & white laser printers are available on all floors.
NOTE: The computer workstations and printers in the Lied Library are provided primarily for UNLV students, faculty, and staff. Public patrons are limited to the use of 5 workstations located near the Computer Help Desk. These workstations have access to the Libraries' online resources, but do not have open internet access.
