In conjunction with the end of the Fall 2019 semester, the University Libraries will have reduced operating hours from Friday, Dec. 13 through Tuesday, Jan 21, 2020.
In observance of state holidays, UNLV will be closed Dec. 25 and Jan.1. All libraries will be closed on both these observed holidays.
Lied Library will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Dec. 13, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 14, and closed on Dec. 15. Beginning on Dec. 16, Lied Library will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday and closed on weekends through Jan. 19. Lied will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 20 before resuming regular hours in Tuesday, Jan. 21.
Essential library services will be available for faculty, staff, students, and the general public including general reference and research assistance, computer assistance, and circulation services. Collections located within Lied will be accessible during the semester break.
Special Collections and Archives in Lied Library will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday through Dec. 31, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday from Jan. 2 to Jan. 17, and will resume 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. hours starting Jan. 21.
The Health Sciences Library and InfoCommons will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday from Dec. 16 to Jan. 17.
The Teacher Development & Resources Library, Music Library, and Architecture Studies Library will be closed from Saturday, December 16, through Wednesday, Jan. 1. Materials from branch libraries will be available via paging upon request.
UNLV faculty, staff and students are encouraged to check out any circulating materials they will need during the semester break prior to Friday, Dec. 13.
