Join the University Libraries for a mixer and social event for first-generation students on Thursday, Aug. 29 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. in the Goldfield Room at Lied Library. Chat with other students who identify as first-gen, meet faculty and staff interested in supporting your experience at UNLV, and build connections in your academic community.

Drop-in anytime during the event. Refreshments and resources will be provided.

All students, faculty, and staff who identify as first-generation are welcome to attend, as well as students who identify with being unfamiliar with navigating the college experience.

RSVP to the event online. For more information, contact Rosan Mitola at rosan.mitola@unlv.edu.

If you have special accommodation needs, please contact Lonnie Marshall in advance at lonnie.marshall@unlv.edu or 702-895-4517.
