    Receive the health benefits of coloring and doing other arts and crafts. Art therapy will help you release stress, increase your focus, and calm your anxiety before finals.

We know Study Week is a stressful time. Between cramming for exams and finishing class papers and project, take a break with one of our fun de-stressing activities at Lied Library! Spend some time with a certified therapy dog, practice yoga and guided meditation, or get creative and unwind with art therapy. Our full schedule of activities includes:

Tuesday, December 4

“Paws” for a Study Break

Relieve stress with a therapy dog from Love Dog Adventures from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Amargosa Room on the first floor of Lied Library. 

Wednesday, December 5

“Paws” for a Study Break

Relieve stress with a therapy dog from Love Dog Adventures from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Amargosa Room on the first floor of Lied Library.

Thursday, December 6

Yoga for Stress Relief, sponsored by Fitness4Finals

Improve your cognitive function before your exams with a 45-minute yoga session in the Amargosa Room on the first floor of Lied Library. Mats will be provided. Yoga sessions begin at  9 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1 p.m.

Guided Meditation, sponsored by Fitness4Finals

Feel focused and well rested before your exam with a 20-minute guided meditation in the Eureka Room on the first floor of Lied Library. Meditation sessions begin at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and noon. 

Art Therapy, sponsored by Fitness4Finals

Receive the health benefits of coloring and doing other arts and crafts in the Pioche Room on the first floor of Lied Library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Art therapy will help you release stress, increase your focus, and calm your anxiety before finals.
