By skennedy on March 23, 2018 10:53 AM | Permalink

Join the UNLV University Libraries for a free screening of the documentary, The Million Dollar Duck, on Friday, April 13 from 2-4:30 p.m. in the Amargosa Room in Lied Library.

This documentary depicts the strange and wonderful world of the Federal Duck Stamp contest, the only juried art competition run by the U.S. government. The 2018 Federal Duck Stamp Art Competition will be held at the Las Vegas Springs Preserve in September.

In addition to the documentary screening, the event will include free snacks, a book tasting, and fun duck-related activities.

The event is sponsored by the UNLV University Libraries, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and the National Wildlife Refuge System.

If you have any special accommodation needs, please contact Lonnie Marshall in University Libraries Administration in advance at 702-895-4517 or lonnie.marshall@unlv.edu.
