The University Libraries and the UNLV Department of Art will host the Art + Feminism Wikipedia Edit-A-Thon on Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 3-7 p.m. in the Amargosa Room in Lied Library.

The focus of the event is to improve representation of women and non-binary people of color on Wikipedia. Less than 15 percent of Wikipedia editors are women, which leads to an uneven bias towards content about white cis-het men.

No Wikipedia experience is necessary to participate; training and resources will be provided. People of all genders are encouraged to attend. Feel free to bring your own laptops and chargers, though some will be provided.

RSVP encouraged and snacks will be available. For more information and to sign up, visit: Bit.ly/unlvartandfem.
