Quick Search: Articles, newspapers, books and ebooks, videos and more. Results primarily available online but may also include books available in the library or articles that can be requested for email delivery from ILLiad.
Books: Print and online books available from UNLV Libraries or by ILLiad request.

Library Information: Pages on library web site, for example research guides, library policies and procedures, hours and events.

Internet Explorer Users: Potential Website Problems

Some users of Internet Explorer have reported problems viewing portions of the new Libraries website (for example, the list of databases page). These problems have been fixed, but because of the way Internet Explorer works, your browser may not know that they've been fixed!

Here's how you can rectify the situation:

The Issue:
Your browser is displaying the site in Compatibility Mode or Quirks Mode, making it ignore some of the placement rules we've used on the website. This causes everything to look jumbled, and some things to not display at all.

The Fix:
  1. Visit a page that's not rendering properly
  2. Click F12, which will give you a new menu about halfway down the screen.
  3. Under Browser Mode, choose "Internet Explorer 9" (this should automatically change your Document Mode to "IE9 Standards")

These problems do not affect users of the Firefox, Chrome, Opera, or Safari browsers.
