Welcome to the spring semester in the Music Library.  Our spring semester hours are Monday-Thursday 10:00 am-8:00 pm; Friday 10:00 am-6:00 pm; Saturday closed; Sunday 1:00 pm-6:00 pm.  Planning ahead, the Music Library is closed on Monday, February 16 for the Presidents Day holiday.  Contact us at 702-895-2541 or email us at with any questions about our hours or services.

The Libraries have many electronic resources at your disposal. These resources are available 24/7 to all UNLV Faculty, Staff and students.  Highlighted below are three video streaming databases that would be helpful to musicians and dancers alike.

  • Opera in Video has over 500 hours of streamed video of staged productions from leading opera houses, interviews and documentaries dealing with opera
  • Classical Music in Video is perhaps our largest streaming video database.  It contains approximately 1,500 performances of classical music, interviews, and masterclasses
  • Dance in Video contains dance productions, interviews, and documentaries highlighting some of the major performances and dance companies of the 20th century

Enjoy these resources, and if you have questions about these or other resources available, please ask!
