With the 306fly app (available from the Apple App or Google Play stores), you can capture, edit and share up to 2 minutes of video directly from your mobile device. You can also download the Director desktop app to store and edit your 360 videos on your computer. Don't forget to save your video to your device, or save it to your computer using the camera's power cradle and USB cable.

While virtual reality has been around for some time, it's only been recently that tech geniuses figured out how to make it affordable and easy to use for almost everyone. Any smartphone owner can buy a Google Cardboard headset for under $20. Electronics companies are jumping into the market: Occulus Rift debuted early in the year, Samsung is now offering an upscale version of Google Cardboard, Samsung Gear VR, for under $100, and Playstation is coming out with their VR headset this month.

Thanks to Swank Digital Films, we're able to offer a streaming video library of over 100 feature films for 24/7/365 access by the UNLV community.  Access on campus or login with your ACE account off campus, and choose from dozens of interesting titles in all genres, including dramas, comedies, documentaries, mysteries, action films, science fiction and much more.

The Tech CornerThanks to everyone who took the time from their busy schedules to check out a gadget or two from the Tech Corner. Many of you also provided feedback on the gadgets, suggested new devices to purchase for the collection, and/or voted in the new gadget poll -- we greatly appreciate it!

We recently awarded prizes -- first prize of a bluetooth SoundBlock speaker, two second prizes of bluetooth in-ear headphones -- to Tech Corner users who gave us feedback and registered for the end-of-semester raffle.
