We are very excited that the American Library Association Annual Conference is taking place right in our backyard this year.  If you are coming to Las Vegas, please consider attending one of the presentations on the UNLV Linked Data project that we have scheduled.

Free and good for you! Open Refine, a valuable tool for digital collections managers on Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 10:30am to 12:00pm at the Las Vegas Convention Center Exhibit Hall - Poster Session - Poster 12

Taking action: Linked data for digital collection managers on Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm Las Vegas Convention Center S222 (slides at the bottom of this page)

We will also be joining a Q & A Session during the Practical Linked Data with Open Source pre-conference on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 2:30 pm in the Las Vegas Convention Center N258

And you can join us at the UNLV University Libraries Open House at UNLV Libraries where we will be presenting an overview of the UNLV Linked Data Project at 2:00 pm in the Goldfield Room. Refreshments will be served and there will be tours of UNLV Digital Collections, UNLV Special Collections and several of our unique collections will be on display (physical and digital exhibits). Free to all but register online.

We hope to see many of our colleagues at the conference and we look forward to talking with you about linked data and libraries!
