Research guides are online resources created by the librarians to help get you started with your research or guide you through a common research or library process like printing, learning a reference management tool, or tips for effective database searching. The research guides provide you with needed assistance when you are off campus or when a librarian or library staff member is unavailable.
Students, Faculty, and Staff
The library faculty are available to help you find the resources and evidence you need to complete your grants, research protocol, article, book chapter or presentation. You can schedule a research consultation with a librarian by using our online booking system.
Library faculty are also available to support your learning in citation management software, understanding best practices for research data management, and developing strategies for choosing publications and weeding out predatory publishers and conference opportunities, among other things. Contact us to learn more about how we can partner with you in your research.
The School of Medicine Library is an educational library unaffiliated with any Las Vegas hospital. We do not perform mediated searches, pdf collection and delivery, or ILL requests by proxy. If you are interested in how we can collaborate in co-authorship on your next systematic review, article, book, etc. or how else we can support you in these endeavors, please contact us!
