This temporary student assistant position is scheduled between 10 and 15 hours per week on the following days, Monday through Friday, 8AM-6PM.  Scheduled shifts are dependent on student assistant’s availability and the operational priorities and needs of the division and/or department.

Purpose of the position

To assist the Director in identifying and entering statistics and data concerning the gaming industry

Duties & responsibilities

Data entry/report updating
• Copy data from state and commercial informational releases to existing spreadsheets
• Enter new information into existing reports
• Upload new reports to website
• Modify Reports page (or other appropriate page)  to reflect new updates

New report development
• Identify sources of data for new reports
• In consultation with the Director, begin compiling information for new reports
• In consultation with the Director, design new reports
• Modify Reports page to reflect new reports

• Other tasks as assigned

Working conditions

Sitting, looking at a computer screen, and typing.


* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
* Performs independently and able to remain flexible when changes are needed
* Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

* Experience with Microsoft Office preferred
* Experience with Adobe Dreamweaver preferred
* Web design experience preferred
