UNLV's collaboration on the Nevada Test Site Oral History Project continues gain visibility and recognition.

Recently the National Council on Public History awarded the project the 2010 Public History award for "excellence in work completed within the previous two calendar years (2009 and 2010) that contributes to a broader public reflection and appreciation of the past or that serves as a model of professional public history practice."

Mary Palevsky, Nevada Test Site Oral History Project Director, and UNLV faculty members Andrew Kirk and Robert Futrell, were honored at the NCPH conference awards ceremony this March in Portland. Congratulations to the entire team that worked on this oral history project!
