The “Average Big Strip Casino” reports for their respective years give snapshots of how Las Vegas casinos earning over $72 million a year in gaming revenue are performing. This report shows how revenues and expenses have tracked over time.
I think you'll find a lot of interesting stuff in this report. For example, gaming revenue bucked the trend of decreasing relative to total revenues, and slightly increased. And while complimentary expenses now exceed pre-recession highs, gaming revenues still do not.
