2 Reports on Nevada April gaming revenues

By David G. Schwartz on June 12, 2012 10:08 AM | Permalink
I've just posted two reports taking two different looks at the April numbers released by the Nevada Gaming Control Board this morning.

Nevada Gaming Statistics: April Comparison Current Month
Statewide, Las Vegas Strip, Downtown Las Vegas, Boulder Strip, and Washoe County figures for the month of April, 2004-2012

This report has all of the April numbers going back to 2004. It's a good way of comparing year over year changes, and helps but the 2011/2012 numbers into context.

Nevada Gaming Statistics: The Last Six Months Updated June 2012
Recent Trends for Casino Revenues, November 2011 to April 2012

This report looks at the last six months, helping to get a better perspective on how this month's numbers fit in with the recent past. I experimented a bit last year with different ways of getting this perspective, including a report that summarized calendar year-to-date results, and this seems the best way to do it.
