Six "Average Casino" reports posted

Since the 2012 Nevada Gaming Abstract was released, we've been busy at the Center. Today I posted six (6!) new reports charting the performance of "average" casinos on the Las Vegas Strip, Downtown Las Vegas, Boulder Strip, Laughlin, and Reno/Sparks.

I find these reports useful because they provide a frame of reference for judging individual casino performance in their markets.

I split the Las Vegas Strip into two groups: the "big" casinos, which make more than $72 million a year, and the "small" casinos that make less than $72 million. Big and small is just about money here: a "small" casino might have more rooms and square footage than a "big" one, but make less money. The Gaming Control Board breaks them down this way, and I think that you'll find it useful.
