April 17, 5-7:30 pm: Leading to Linking: Introducing Linked Data to Academic Libraries at UNLV Academic Achievement Gala under the Innovation topic area. See announcement at the Provost's website.

May 20, 2-3 pm: Transforming CONTENTdm metadata to Linked data, at the Southern CONTENTdm Users Group Meeting. Check the program here.

June 28, 1:30-2:30 pm: Taking action: Linked data for digital collection managers at ALA Annual Meeting, room TBD.

Selected presentations of the project

The project has been presented in several conferences, workshops and user group meetings. Please find below a sample of 3 of these presentations. These presentations were followed by a demo of visualization tools that were used to display the linked data generated.

1) Workshop at the Marriott Library, October 2013, at Salt Lake City for Mountain West Digital Library (MWDL) partners. This was a full day workshop where in the morning we explored the basic concepts of linked data and in the afternoon attendees practice generating linked data from a sample digital collection
