Thank you all for your participation in the 2015 Ithaka Faculty & Graduate Student Survey!
The Libraries administered three surveys by Ithaka S+R to faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates. Each of the surveys had a slightly different question set, but all concentrated on research practices, discovery and access, scholarly communications, and the role of the library.
The information you provided is extremely valuable and will affect not only the Libraries, but also other areas across UNLV as we build out our campus infrastructure to support our growth toward top tier status.
We know the survey was long and have already provided that feedback to the survey designers at Ithaka S+R, so we are especially appreciative of the extremely strong response rate: 21.4% (356) faculty, 16.1% (631) graduate students, and 11% (2455) undergraduates.
We are analyzing the data and are working to make it available via dashboards. In the meantime, executive summaries are available for each population:
- Executive Summary of Undergraduate Survey Report
- Executive Summary of Graduate Survey Report
- Executive Summary of Faculty Survey Report
The PDF versions of the full reports for each population are also available.
- Fall 2015 Ithaka Undergraduate Survey Report

We will report on details of the findings and proposed actions after future analysis.
